Animal Control

pets

Our pets are precious to many of us.  In Laurentian Hills, we require that all dogs and cats be registered, by having a pet tag to help protect these precious members.  By tagging your pet, should they be found, they will be returned to the owner instead of being taken to the pound, where they are held for a limited amount of time before being put up for adoption or destroyed.  Protect your pet by getting your tags today.  It's not just a good idea, it's the law.

To report a found animal or to report animals running at large, please contact the By-Law Enforcement Officer at 613-584-4015.

Free Registration

You can now register your pet for free in Laurentian Hills.  The Council has adopted a new animal control by-law in which residents are required to register their pets, at no cost, with the municipal office.  Get your tags now and ensure the safety of your pets.
