Directing Building in the Municipality.

The Official Plan is a document which guides development within the municipality in terms of potential land uses and the way in which development can take place. The Official Plan recognizes the unique demographic and economic structure of the Town of Laurentian Hills. It highlights areas that contribute to our high quality of life, and areas where growth is anticipated in the future.

The Zoning By-Law contains the "rules" to implement the ideas in the Official Plan. The Plan is reviewed every five years with input and approval from the County of Renfrew. The Official Plan, Zoning By-Law and other key documents are located below.
