The Town's Recycling pickup will alternate between containers one week (plastic and glass) Residents who have their garbage picked up on Tuesday will have their recycling picked up on Wednesday. The Fire Department will be participating in a community event at the Chalk River Fire Department on October 12, 2024 from 10 am until 2 pm. The Fire Department will have displays, prevention giveaways and information on escape plans available to the public. During Fire Prevention Week (October 6-12), if anyone wishing to tour the Chalk River or Point Alexander Fire Hall, please call 613-584-3114 and provide your name and contact information. The Fire Department will contact you directly to arrange a tour. Schools or Community groups can book a tour of the firehalls anytime throughout the year by contacting the office at 613-584-3114. |
